Early Life

Khadijah Haqq was born on March 10, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. She was born alongside her twin sister, Malika. Their parents had immigrated from the Khuzestan Province of Iran. They had older twin sisters, one of whom died at the age of 18. Haqq also grew up with her brother, Jamal. She attended high school in the Los Angeles area. During this time, she met many children of high-profile public figures and celebrities. Her sister, Malika, began dating one of Khloe Kardashian's best friends. She and her sister ended up becoming quite close with the Kardashian family over the years.

Career

Along with her sister, Haqq was interested in acting from a young age. In 2003, she appeared in an episode of "The Parkers" in a minor role. The following year, she appeared in an episode of "Strong Medicine" and then in an episode of "The Bernie Mac Show" in 2005. The same year, she also was cast as Penny in the movie "Sky High." The next year, she appeared in "ATL" as Veda and had small roles in "Entourage," "School for Scoundrels," and a voice role in "Happy Feet." In 2007, Khadijah appeared in an episode of "Las Vegas." In 2008, she had a role in "Delinda" and appeared in a music video for the song "She Got Her Own" by Ne-Yo. She didn't act again until 2013 when she appeared in an episode of "Real Husbands of Hollywood." Haqq then took an even longer hiatus from acting, not appearing in a role again until 2023, when she was cast in "You People."

Over the course of their marriage, they had three children: Celine, Christian, and Kapri. McCray additionally had another child from a previous relationship.

In August 2023, Haqq announced on Instagram that she and McCray had separated. She has not provided much more detail about the reason for the separation. The split seems to have been amicable, as the couple plans to continue co-parenting together.
