Early Life

Grace Helbig was born Grace Anne Helbig on September 27, 1985, in Woodbury, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Theresa and John Helbig, and she has two brothers, Tim and John. Grace was a track star during her time at Gateway Regional High School, and she won medals for pole vaulting. After high school, she graduated summa cum laude from Ramapo College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in digital filmmaking. As a college student, Helbig formed the sketch comedy group Baked Goods with her friend Michelle Akin. Grace took improv classes at New York City's Peoples Improv Theater. She competed in the 2005 Miss New Jersey USA pageant and made it to the semi-finals.

In 2007, Helbig started a daily vlog on YouTube to alleviate boredom while housesitting in South Orange, New Jersey. The following year, she launched the YouTube channel "Grace n' Michelle" with Michelle Akin, her college roommate. That year she also narrated the My Damn Channel animated web series "Bedtime Stories" and began hosting the video blog web series "DailyGrace" on the My Damn Channel website. Two years later, "DailyGrace" was launched as a YouTube channel, and it had garnered more than 2.4 million subscribers by the end of 2013. Helbig hosted "My Damn Channel LIVE" from March 2012 to January 2013, and in September 2013, she began hosting the web series "Grace's Faces" on Bobbi Brown's YouTube channel "I love makeup." Personal Life

In early 2019, Grace began a relationship with Elliott Morgan, a fellow YouTube personality. Helbig announced their engagement in February 2021, and they married in Las Vegas on October 1, 2022. In July 2023, Grace revealed that she had been diagnosed with "super treatable and highly beatable" triple-positive breast cancer and that she would undergo surgery, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy.
